More about Tox

What is Xeomin?

Also called tox, or neuromodulators

We use Xeomin, an FDA-approved neurotoxin, to gently relax the muscles that create expression lines. Small, strategic doses soften wrinkles at the source, so you look rested and natural, never frozen. The injections take only a few minutes and feel like a small pinch.

What it can address

  • Forehead lines, the horizontal creases across the brow
  • The 11s, vertical lines between the brows
  • Crow's feet at the corners of the eyes
  • Lip flip for a softer, more upturned smile
  • Masseter slimming for jaw tension and a softer jawline
  • Preventative tox to slow lines before they set in

What to expect

  • Full effect within 3 to 7 days
  • Results typically last 3 to 4 months
  • No downtime, return to your day right away
  • Avoid rubbing the area or lying flat for about 4 hours

Why Xeomin? It is a highly purified neurotoxin with no unnecessary additives, a clean formula that smooths dynamic lines for a natural, refreshed look.

Tox is for adults 18 and older. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for anyone with a botulinum allergy, an active skin infection at the injection site, or certain neuromuscular conditions. Your consultation sorts out what's right for you.

More about microneedling

What is microneedling?

Collagen induction therapy

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses fine needles to create thousands of tiny micro-channels in the skin's surface. These controlled micro-injuries trigger the body's natural repair response, stimulating collagen and elastin and speeding up cell renewal. The result is smoother texture, softer scarring, more even tone, and a visible overall glow.

What it can help with

  • Acne scars, especially indented (atrophic) scars
  • Fine lines and wrinkles through collagen stimulation
  • Enlarged pores and uneven texture
  • Hyperpigmentation and uneven tone
  • Stretch marks when paired with advanced serums
  • Overall radiance, the glow from renewed skin

How it works

  • A pen-shaped device with a sterile tip creates precise micro-channels, releasing the growth factors that start the repair cascade.
  • Fibroblasts are stimulated to build fresh collagen and elastin.
  • Topical serums absorb far deeper than they could on their own.
The device she uses

SkinPen, the first FDA-cleared microneedling device

SkinPen by Bellus Medical (Crown Aesthetics) is the first and only microneedling device to earn FDA Class II clearance, the gold standard in the category. Every treatment uses a sterile, single-use cartridge with a safety feature that prevents cross-contamination. It is non-ablative, with no lasers, harsh heat, or chemicals, and minimal downtime.

Does it hurt, and what's recovery like?

A numbing cream is applied first, so most people feel only a mild scratching or vibration. Right after, expect redness and light swelling like a mild sunburn. Most redness fades within 24 to 48 hours, and makeup can usually go on by day 3 to 5. Skip active ingredients (retinoids, AHAs, vitamin C) for 5 to 7 days, avoid direct sun, and hold off on strenuous exercise for a day or two.

How many sessions, and is it for me?

A series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart gives the most meaningful improvement, since collagen builds over time. A single session still gives a noticeable result. Microneedling is one of the few resurfacing options that is safe and effective for all skin tones, including deeper skin that may not be a candidate for lasers.

More about weight loss

Medically supervised weight loss with GLP-1s

Semaglutide, tirzepatide, and name-brand options

GLP-1 medications work with your body's own hunger signals to quiet appetite and cravings, supporting steady, sustainable weight loss by working with your biology rather than against it. With the nurse practitioner, this is not a ship-and-forget subscription. You get a real clinician who reviews your health, builds a plan around your goals, and adjusts it as you go.

Your options, chosen together

  • Compounded semaglutide, a weekly injectable that reduces appetite
  • Compounded tirzepatide, which targets two metabolic hormones, GLP-1 and GIP
  • Name-brand medications like Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and Ozempic
  • Microdose options, a gentler on-ramp with fewer side effects

How it works

  • A short intake and consultation so the NP can understand your health and goals.
  • If GLP-1 therapy is a fit, she prescribes a plan personalized to you.
  • Monthly check-ins, dose adjustments, and support between visits keep it on track.
GLP-1 medications are prescription only and are prescribed after a clinical evaluation. Eligibility, dosing, and duration are individualized, and this therapy is not right for everyone. In clinical trials, GLP-1 medications have supported meaningful weight loss, and individual results vary with your plan, nutrition, and activity. HSA and FSA funds are typically eligible. Ask at your consultation.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does any of this hurt?

Tox feels like a small pinch and takes only minutes. For microneedling, a numbing cream is applied first, so most people feel a mild scratching or vibration. Both are well tolerated.

Is there downtime?

Tox has none. Microneedling leaves redness like a mild sunburn that usually fades within 24 to 48 hours, with makeup back on by day 3 to 5.

How many microneedling sessions will I need?

A series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart gives the most improvement, since collagen builds over time. A single session still gives a noticeable result.

Is microneedling safe for all skin tones?

Yes. It is one of the few resurfacing options safe and effective for all Fitzpatrick skin types, including deeper skin tones that may not be candidates for laser treatments.

Is SkinPen FDA-cleared?

Yes. SkinPen is the first and only microneedling device to earn FDA Class II clearance, using sterile single-use cartridges. It is cleared to improve the appearance of facial acne scars in adults 22 and older, and neck wrinkles.

Do I need a prescription for GLP-1s?

Yes. GLP-1 medications are prescribed only after a clinical evaluation by the nurse practitioner, who tailors the plan and monitors your progress with monthly check-ins. HSA and FSA funds are typically eligible.
